Studying fashion design in London, painting silk dresses in translucent, swirling colours, in luxury silks, as well as designing wedding dresses, proved to be be a wonderful creative outlet. Following a move to Belgium Fiona began to study art. Primarily at the contemporary art academy BKO and secondly at Academy De Lei situated in Leuven, where she gained her 'Diplome de Beaux Arts'. After moving to France she has continued her studies, and always works from a live model, with other groups of artists. She has a spontaneous approach to her work, expressing flowing emotions, movement and sensitivity in each brush stroke. Colours intermingle and saturate the canvas, as large brush strokes intuitively work together up to express the form of the body and face.
